Royal Society of Sculptors - 10gram Challenge 2024
The Royal Society of Sculptors in partnership with Milwyn Casting Ltd has announced the 10gram Challenge - where 42 artists of international renown are invited to create a sculpture from a 10-gram piece of wax. These unique mini masterpieces will be cast in bronze at The Milwyn Casting, Fine Art Foundry and presented in a selling exhibition at Thomas Dane Gallery, London on 23 and 24 October.
All profits raised by the 10gram Challenge will go towards Creating a Home For Sculptors, a campaign to support the urgent renovation of Dora House, the unique Grade II listed home of the Society in London, as well as the creation of much-needed additional studio and community workshop spaces on site.
Participating artists include Antony Gormley, Rana Begum, Grayson Perry, Richard Deacon, Richard Wilson, Michael Craig Martin, Polly Morgan and many more.
From 11am on 23rd October - 8pm on 24th October, all works from the 10gram Challenge will be available to buy in person at Thomas Dane Gallery , London and thereafter from the Royal Society of Sculptors.
