HENI presents The Kaleidoscopes by Damien Hirst, a series of five limited edition prints that feature the artist’s renowned butterfly motif.
The Kaleidoscopes by Damien Hirst continue the artist’s decades-long exploration of brightly coloured butterfly wings arranged in geometric patterns. The meticulously structured, symmetrical compositions, set against vivid backdrops create a dynamic visual effect, where the butterflies seem to shift and rotate before the viewer's eyes.
Inspired by Victorian tea trays decorated with butterfly wings, Hirst's arrangements, not unlike the rows of specimens pinned in Victorian cabinets, invite reflection on the complex relationship between life, death and the desire to preserve fleeting beauty.
The editions are available by application from 24 October until 4 November at 17:00 (GMT) from HENI.
